The role involves developing and supporting high‑quality work experience placements, building strong employer partnerships, and helping establish our new Pre‑Supported Internship model. You will play a key role in promoting independence, employability skills and high aspirations for our learners. Key Responsibilities Develop and support high‑quality work experience placements for young people with SEND.Build and maintain employer partnerships.Promote independence and employability skills among learners.Coordinate Pre‑Supported Internship model.Ensure safeguarding procedures, including DBS checks, are followed. Essential Qualifications Level 3 qualification (Teaching Assistant or equivalent).Relevant training in SEND and. Desirable Qualifications Job Coach qualification.Additional employability or vocational training. Essential Experience Experience working as a Job Coach or similar role supporting young people with additional needs.Experience in a SEND or educational setting.Experience developing or maintaining work placements.Experience liaising with employers or external organisations. Desirable Experience Experience with Supported Internships or vocational pathways.Experience using EVOLVE.Experience delivering employability or careers learning. Additional Information This position is part‑time, term‑time only; salary quoted is full‑time equivalent, paid on a pro‑rata basis. A full UK driving licence and business insurance are vital.
