The role will involve homeworking and external delivery and may be subject to change.Accountable to: Chief ExecutiveDirect reports: Support FacilitatorHours: TBCContract: Freelance contractSummary of postTo act as a Lead Facilitator on a wide range of perinatal and perimenopause therapeutic groups for the charity, our Wellbeing Days and workshops.Remuneration£49 per hourMain Purpose and scope of roleLead the delivery of a range of therapeutic groups and workshops for the charityUndertake participant assessments in the lead‑up to the groups and workshops commencementEnsure the groups and workshops run in a safe and supportive mannerManage the Support Facilitators during the delivery of the groups and workshopsUndertake monitoring and evaluation of the groups and workshopsCommit to the duration of the delivery of the groups and workshopsLiaise with partner organisations and referral partners relating to the groups and workshopsMaintain confidential files and adhere to the highest levels of confidentialityAttend line management meetings and regular clinical supervision as requiredEnsure the work adheres to the highest safeguarding and child‑protection standardsDemonstrate a commitment to equality of opportunity for allExperienceA recognised diploma or degree in counselling, psychotherapy, psychology, or equivalentExperience leading on safeguarding and health and safety within a group settingQualification or training in group workCurrently in clinical practiceExtensive experience in leading mental health therapeutic groupsExperience of working within a trauma‑informed approachBACP/UKCP/equivalent registeredWorking within voluntary sector agenciesComprehensive understanding of the complex physical, mental and emotional impacts on maternal and perimenopausal mental healthExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloadSelf‑motivated and able to take initiativeAbility to work as part of a teamA commitment to improving the lives of women experiencing mental ill healthClear boundaries around confidential working practicesCommitment to equality, diversity and inclusionCommitment to the highest levels of good safeguarding practiceSeniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionHuman ResourcesIndustries: Mental Health CareGet notified about new Lead Facilitator jobs in Brighton, England, United Kingdom. #J-18808-Ljbffr
