Pay Rate: £19.62 per hour

The London Borough of Harrow is seeking a proactive and resilient Enforcement Officer to tackle environmental offences across the borough - with a particular focus on fly-tipping and illegal waste disposal.
This is a hands-on role that requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in outdoor environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Patrol and investigate areas affected by fly-tipping and illegal dumping.
Search for identifying evidence (e.g., names, addresses, documents) to trace offenders.
Report incidents to the Waste Team for prompt removal and clean-up.
Prepare and issue penalty charges in line with council enforcement procedures.
Attend planned evening enforcement actions as required.Requirements:
Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a personal vehicle.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Flexible to attend evening operations when scheduled.
Strong observational and investigative skills.
Previous experience in enforcement, environmental services, or similar fields is desirable - but the manager is open to candidates with transferable skills.About Pertemps & London Borough of Harrow:
