From maintaining accurate records to supporting vehicle operations and compliance, you’ll be a key player in our transport team. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll support the day‑to‑day administration and coordination of our fleet and plant equipment, ensuring everything is safe, compliant, and efficient. Your responsibilities will include : Managing fleet records (digital and hard copy) and updating vehicle / asset registers Handling internal and external queries via the shared fleet mailbox Investigating and processing PCNs, including cost recovery communications Coordinating vehicle hire and termination paperwork Conducting vehicle inspections and basic maintenance (oil, bulbs, fluids, etc.) Transporting goods and vehicles (up to 3.5T GVW) Liaising with third‑party suppliers and covering for the Fleet Manager when needed Using jump packs / leads for non‑start vehicles (training provided) Ensuring idle vehicles are regularly started and ready for use What We’re Looking For A full, clean UK manual driving licence (including HGV Category C) Experience in fleet administration or coordination Knowledge of vehicle licensing, MOTs, servicing, repairs, and PCN handling Strong admin skills and attention to detail Familiarity with fleet management systems (a plus) Excellent communication and customer service skills A flexible, hands‑on approach and team spirit Comfortable with basic vehicle maintenance Experience with Sage or similar systems (or willingness to learn) About us BD Group is a facilities services company, providing a range of services for public and private sector clients currently across London and the Southeast, with aspirations to broaden our geographies over time.
