Technical Estimator (Sales) Small WorksGlobal Fire and Security Systems – Nottingham (NG2) – Full TimeJob PurposeTake full ownership of allocated sales enquiries, conduct site surveys and provide quotations to clients within set deadlines.Improve Global's market position and achieve sales growth by developing new relationships and retaining/expanding existing ones across all market sectors.Build key internal and external customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.Represent the entire range of company services to all clients and gain commitment to buy from Global.Key AccountabilitiesTake full ownership of allocated sales enquiries & site surveys.Achieve sales targets and profit objectives as set by the company.Promote the company and its products and services at all times.Accurately record and process related documents and records.Produce monthly sales forecasts.Monitor enquiry end dates to ensure deadlines are met.Planning and OrganisingOptimise available time through effective planning.Schedule and monitor workload requirements for sales enquiries.Design and estimate small works Life Safety and Security Systems in line with British Standards.Produce weekly sales enquiry status updates for department managers/directors.Maintain up-to-date records and information systems, including contacts and business obtained.Selling SkillsUse all-round sales skills including open questioning, objection handling, etc.Generate and develop business from new and existing clients.Prepare and submit detailed quotations to meet order targets.Respond to client objections or questions satisfactorily.About YouDesign and sales experience (field-based) ideally within the Fire and Security industry.Current or former Fire Systems Engineer or Estimator looking for a more commercial role.Experience working to deadlines and agreed targets.Knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems and Security Systems.What We OfferCompetitive salary based on experience and qualifications.Supportive and professional team environment.Opportunities for training and career development.Employee social and engagement initiatives.Paid employee referral scheme.The chance to be part of a reputable company in the fire and security industry.Does this sound like you?We would love to hear from you Even if your experience or qualifications don't match every single requirement, we encourage you to apply.
