Location: Midlands based with national coverage. Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum. Role Overview We are seeking a seasoned engineer to join our fast‑growing team as a Fire & Security Project Engineer. The position will work closely with the Project Manager on all projects, from inception through to completion, handling site supervision, manpower management, and commissioning multi‑system projects across the UK. Key Responsibilities Lead commissioning, system handovers, and end‑user training for small systems. Ensure full compliance with industry standards, delivering multi‑discipline systems efficiently, on time, and within budget. Collaborate closely with Sales and Installation Managers for seamless, end‑to‑end delivery. Coordinate subcontractor resources and maintain clear communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct technical and quality audits, including supporting NSI audit compliance. Maintain project quality and budgetary control, ensuring systems are commissioned and handed over to standards. Provide technical input and support project execution by attending project sites as required. Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 5 years proven experience within the fire & security industry. Strong technical knowledge of major fire & security systems (CCTV, fire, intruder, access control, nurse call). Experience managing and delivering engineering projects across single‑site and multi‑site environments. Excellent organisational and time‑management skills. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel frequently. Proficient IT skills for fire and security system commissioning. Professional demeanor, strong communication, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Systems We Work With Fire: Gent, Notifier, Kentec, Ziton, Advanced, Morley, C‑Tec, Protec. Intruder: Galaxy, Texecom, Scantronic, Menvier, Risco. CCTV: Hikvision, Dahua, Bosch, Generic Analogue Systems. Access Control: Paxton, PAC, Salto.
