Edinburgh, UKThe RoleWe are excited to be hiring our first Portfolio Performance Analyst (Portfolio Data Consultant) in Edinburgh. This role is pivotal in leading data validation efforts for client portfolio conversions. You\'ll work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial portfolio data throughout implementation projects.The ideal candidate will bring a strong grasp of investment and portfolio data, a problem-solving mindset, and excellent communication skills. You\'ll take ownership of client outcomes, work hands-on to resolve complex data challenges, and contribute to enhancing internal processes along the way.What You’ll DoLead the end-to-end data validation process for client onboarding and data conversion projectsFacilitate regular client meetings and working sessions throughout the project lifecycleInvestigate and resolve performance discrepancies in portfolio data, providing clear recommendationsReview and document differences in calculation methodologies between systemsCollaborate with cross-functional project teams, keeping all parties aligned and informed on progressFlag risks or key issues to stakeholders, including senior leadership, in a timely mannerManage multiple concurrent projects and prioritise effectively to meet deadlinesIdentify and help drive process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and automationWho You AreA degree (or equivalent experience) in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business or Economics2+ years’ experience working in a financial services or fintech environmentSound understanding of financial instruments and portfolio dataA proactive team player with a strong work ethic and positive approachSelf-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced settingExcellent communication, organisation, and time-management skillsExperience with Python is a requirementOur ValuesAct Like an Owner - Think and operate with intention, purpose and care.
