Help shape the future of aerospaceProduct Quality ControllerEarn £36017.28 rising to £39537.68 with 4 incremental pay rises over 2 year period.Our client is one of the world's largest manufacturers of aerostructures for commercial airplanes, defence platforms, and business/regional jets.Spirit recently acquired Northern Ireland's premier aerospace company and is ramping up its award‑winning, composite wing production for an industry‑leading, commercial aircraft programme.Immediate requirements exist for suitably qualified and experienced applicants to create support for short term assignments. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 07:00am‑15:30pm and Friday 07:00am‑11:00pm.Purpose of the JobCarrying out Inspection, Quality Control and Quality Assurance FunctionsEnsuring product compliance with design specification, customer and approving authority requirements and regulationsProviding instruction and advice to operators as and when requiredMonitoring the Delegated Operator SchemeWorking flexibly in groupsWriting technical reports to highlight drawing, process and tooling anomalies to instigate investigation and corrective actionResponsible to: Product Assurance ManagerCandidate RequirementsApplicants must have completed a recognised apprenticeship and have a minimum of 2 years' relevant post‑apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing/assembly or tooling environmentAn ONC or equivalent qualification is desirable. However applicants with lesser qualifications and additional relevant knowledge and experience will be consideredThe ability to interpret drawings and specifications, and to communicate effectively is EssentialCandidates must be able to demonstrate a knowledge of Company manufacturing and assembly practices, requirements and standardsCandidates must be familiar with quality control requirementsEssential CriteriaAerospace ExperienceWhile you’re on assignment with Spirit, we’ll offer an attractive package of pay and benefits including a 36‑hour working week, generous holiday allowance, attractive overtime rates and shift allowances.It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that sufficient detail is provided on the CV to demonstrate how the applicant meets essential job criteria, as this alone will be used for vetting purposes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
