Casual Matchday Bar Staff - Newcastle United Football Club Sodexo Newcastle, England, United Kingdom We’re hiring for a role at Sodexo Live – working at St. James’ Park to serve guests during matchday and non‑matchday events. Responsibilities Assist with food service Adhere to Food Allergens information, service procedures and legislation Remain attentive to guests’ needs and work promptly to minimise wait times Ensure all food and beverage products served are of the required standard, well presented, and in line with service guidelines Be knowledgeable about all stocked products and any promotions Maintain a safe, tidy work environment and report effective equipment issues Rotate stock and products as necessary Be flexible and adaptable to changes, working in different areas as required by business demands or reasonable requests Follow company procedures set by Sodexo Live and Newcastle United The Ideal Candidate Experience in hospitality (desirable) Excellent verbal communication skills Friendly yet professional attitude Team player with the ability to resolve conflict and accept criticism Strong attention to detail and punctuality Proactive mindset Must be able to work all Christmas and New Year matches About the Company Sodexo Live is part of Sodexo, a global provider of catering, facilities management, employee benefits and personal home services.
