About CarerNest CarerNest.com is a UK-based digital care marketplace that connects families with trusted, DBS-checked carers in a transparent, affordable, and direct way. Our mission is to improve access to home care across the UK while empowering carers with fairer earnings. CarerNest has a working product, early users and onboarding activities, press coverage (St Helens Star, Cloudvisor AWS case study), support from St Helens Business Launchpad, SheAccelerator, and Growth Company, active partnerships and upcoming pilots. We are now seeking a dedicated Co‑Founder to help scale CarerNest into a national platform. Equity Offer (Performance Linked) This is not a salaried role initially. Instead, equity will be granted based on involvement, delivery, and commitment. Equity Structure: Minimum equity starts at 2% for joining as Co‑Founder. Up to 10% equity available based on performance, role ownership, and contribution. Standard 4‑year vesting + 1‑year cliff applies to protect all parties. You will become a true co‑owner of CarerNest, not just an employee. Who We’re Looking For You don’t need experience in everything — just a willingness to take ownership and build with us. Ideal Profiles: Operations & Service Delivery Lead (care or social care background preferred) Growth / Marketing Lead Product or Platform Manager Business Development / Partnerships Lead Customer Experience Lead Someone passionate about improving UK’s care sector A builder with genuine startup mindset If you understand the UK care challenges, community engagement, or digital marketplace operations — that’s a big advantage. Your Role & Responsibilities You will help shape, build, and scale CarerNest, including: Leading and growing the family and carer onboarding pipeline Managing day‑to‑day platform operations Building partnerships with community organisations, training providers, local authorities, and care groups Supporting marketing, campaigns, and user acquisition Improving user experience and developing new features with the tech team Representing CarerNest at events, showcases, and local business programmes Helping prepare for grants, fundraising, and partnerships Contributing to strategy, planning, and long‑term roadmap You will have the autonomy to build your own function within the company.
