Responsibilities Receiving, processing, scanning and forwarding of referrals: agreeing, amending and issuing appointments. Providing an administrative function to the Multi‑Disciplinary Team, minuting meetings, filing and other general administrative duties. Coordinating the flow of referrals from Primary Care processing of all referrals into the service using NHS patient systems, ensuring that all relevant Health & Social Care systems are updated in accordance of that referral. Ensuring referrals are correctly categorized (urgent, routine). Providing patients with information about the referral process, and other relevant details. Communicating with patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure clear information flow. Processing all referrals received into services, ensuring updates to clinical information systems align with Trust and service guidelines. Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date patient records, including referral information. Ordering and managing the team stationery, assuring stock levels remain appropriate.
