Area Sales & Regional Account Manager Brick Vastgoed is looking for an experienced Area Sales & Regional Account Manager to lead our Scottish business based out of Livingston. Company Introduction MGF is a very successful business specialising in the supply of temporary work solutions above and below ground. Established in 1981, MGF is a market leader in the design, manufacture, hire and sale of shoring, structural support, trench & sheet piles and lifting & safety equipment for the civil engineering and building industries. Our business is based on providing technical solutions to meet customer needs. MGF's approach is to provide a one-stop shop for our customers, who range from small locally based sub-contractors to major multi-national contracting organisations. We manufacture our own equipment at our Wigan-based facility and operate regional depots strategically located across the country. We control our service levels through an internal transport fleet and own one of the UK's largest ranges of temporary works, lifting and safety equipment. As demands from our customers grow and change, we remain aligned with these needs and pursue a sustainable growth strategy. You will be a key part of this journey as the Area Sales & Regional Account Manager for our Scottish operations. Role Overview MGF is recruiting a senior professional to oversee the continued growth of our Scottish business. The role demands exceptional construction sector knowledge, commercial acumen, and a proven B2B track record. You will demonstrate contemporary leadership, focus on professional development, succession planning, and team empowerment. Your mission is to align customer needs with our solutions and to enhance customer value through integrated sales, engineering, and marketing collaboration. Responsibilities Monitor the TSRs appointments, diaries, schedules, and time by effective planning of calls, travel and meetings. Understand customers' requirements, provide technical assistance and ensure delivery of optimum solutions. Maintain excellent customer management and set clear expectations. Ensure quality eDRFs are submitted to the design team. Pass clear and concise information to the operations team to enable best responses. Review live hire reports, liaise with operations on anomalies, and coordinate with customers to close potential issues before invoicing. Actively support the resolution of damages. Provide post-sales activity to ensure all contracts are concluded successfully. Qualify Glenigan leads and other sources by all TSRs and sales support. Ensure sales support provides consistent lead generation and optimisation. Guarantee all opportunities are pursued by TSRs in a timely manner. Maintain area coverage during TSRs’ annual leave. Undertake supplementary site visits when TSRs are busy. Work closely with the Regional Engineer (RE) to ensure appropriate projects are supported. Team & Performance Management Provide day‑to‑day management to the Technical Sales Representatives (TSRs). Ensure all inductions are undertaken comprehensively. Collaborate with Senior Management to proactively pursue recruitment. Conduct monthly one‑to‑one reviews with the TSRs. Work with Senior Management to agree and deliver short‑term targets. Plan, complete and coordinate training requirements. Provide feedback on area performance for insightful discussions. Develop recovery plans for areas where revenue is behind budget. Coordinate holiday allocations for TSRs and sales support. Participate in interviews for new TSRs or sales support. Escalate issues impacting day‑to‑day TSR performance to Senior Management. Discuss exceptional performance issues of TSRs with your line manager. Complete annual appraisals in line with HR directives. Skills & Knowledge Requirements (Essential) Utilities infrastructure construction experience. Competent to support front‑line operational staff. Knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice, safety and statutory regulations. Logical and organised. Capable of producing and signing a programme of works. Excellent time‑management skills.
