Role Overview As Senior Analytics Consultant at Rittman Analytics you will lead the delivery of key client projects for our clients in the UK, Northern Europe and North America. Your responsibilities will involve building trusted relationships with our clients, finding creative ways to solve problems, scoping projects and delivering those projects either on your own or as the lead in a small team. Delivering and leading analytics and data engineering projects and initiatives including tasks such as: Configuring and implementing cloud and database infrastructure using Google Cloud, Google BigQuery, Snowflake and other partner tools. Transforming and modeling data into consumable information and business logic using dbt, Dataform and Cube. Developing dashboards, explorations and data visualisations using Looker, Preset, Power BI, Superset. Developing test plans and testing data to ensure it is of high quality. Leading projects using Agile scrum/kanban. Developing and implementing monitoring and optimisation strategies for development workloads. Architecting: Leading discovery and documentation of business logic and data definitions. Working with prospects, customers and senior management to create solution architectures. Designing data and platform architectures on Google Cloud Platform technologies. Designing data flows, data models and data orchestrations. Mentoring: Mentoring and guiding analytics and data engineers. Knowledge: Obtain the Google Cloud Data Engineer certification. Maintain dbt and Looker developer certifications and other relevant partner certifications. Stay updated with the latest data engineering technologies and methodologies. Collaboration: Collaborating closely with our CEO and Head of Delivery to align analytics and data engineering with business goals. What We're Looking For Real-world design, delivery and architectural experience with Google Cloud and modern data stack tools such as dbt, Looker, Fivetran, Google BigQuery and/or Snowflake. Outstanding analytical, problem‑solving and technical skills, a head for numbers and an attention to detail. Excellent grasp of SQL, data modelling, cloud data warehousing and database design. Experience using software development methods (git, CI/CD, code reuse etc) in an analytics context. Experience in a consulting role and ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements. Confidence in managing relationships with partners, clients and stakeholders at all levels. Entrepreneurial mindset motivated by both commercial and technical aspects of consultancy. Based in the UK, USA or Canada with the right to live and work in that country. How the Application Process Works Submit an application via TeamTailor. Initial call with a founder if interested.
