Audit and Accounts Manager Sheridan Maine is delighted to be supporting a respected and expanding accountancy practice in Essex in the search for an Audit and Accounts Manager. Main tasks handled by an Audit and Accounts Manager: Manage a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors. Lead and review audit assignments and ensure compliance with financial reporting standards. Oversee the preparation and review of accounts, including limited companies, consolidated groups, and charities. Support the Partner with elements of an existing client book. Supervise, mentor, and provide technical guidance to junior staff. Assist with practice management tasks such as workflow improvements, WIP monitoring, and process development. Qualifications to succeed as an Audit and Accounts Manager: Strong technical expertise within audit and financial reporting. Proven experience managing a client portfolio. Excellent communication and client management skills. Confident working independently and capable of taking initiative in a managerial role.
