Location Leeds Moor Allerton, West Yorkshire. Our main hospital is located just off the ring road near Roundhay Park. Responsibilities Greet visitors in a professional, friendly manner at all times. Provide excellent customer service and educate clients with sympathy and courtesy. Convert enquiries into appointments wherever possible to maintain pet healthcare. Organise the appointment diary and record, pass on, and personally follow up on enquiries promptly and efficiently. Add new client details fully onto the computer system. Check and update vaccine/contact details during each visit or phone call. Ensure clients pay for services on the day of treatment. Secure follow-up appointments to complete treatment plans wherever possible. Educate all clients about practice services and promote preventive health. Keep the reception area clean and tidy at all times, especially prepared for the next working day. Qualifications At least one year of receptionist experience, preferably within a veterinary practice. Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service. Highly self‑motivated and self‑disciplined. Ability to commute to the branches to cover holidays. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Positive, upbeat attitude and cultural fit with our team. Working Hours This full‑time position offers up to 40 hours per week, working shifts Monday – Sunday on a rota basis. Hours are flexible and will be considered for the right candidate. There will be a 1:4 weekend rota with time off in lieu.
