Research Analyst (Social Media) Brandwatch ES, London, England, United Kingdom. Summary The Brandwatch Professional Services team is seeking a Research Analyst to join its Strategy & Insights division. The role focuses on extracting and interpreting social media trends to guide clients on paid and organic social media strategy based on their business goals and KPIs across various sectors and regions. Duties and Responsibilities Work with paid and organic social media content to understand and engage with client data. Collaborate with clients across a range of industries on both one‑off projects and ongoing reporting. Manage multiple fast‑paced projects simultaneously while delivering high‑quality, client‑tailored insights. Build a research and storytelling plan that aligns with brief objectives, timelines, and accountabilities. Execute the research plan and craft a narrative with data that is engaging and actionable. Provide strategic and consultative guidance to clients across roles/functions to align with larger business goals and data. Work collaboratively and independently on research projects with a focus on personal accountability and project management. Represent the team in client‑facing meetings, communicate project status to clients, and present to internal and external audiences. Gain a comprehensive understanding of Brandwatch products and demonstrate proven expertise in analysis, data storytelling, and research methods. Essential Skills and Experience 2+ years of research experience or data/statistical analysis, ideally within consumer insights or social media research. Proficiency in managing one’s own time across multiple projects. Solid understanding of marketing, market research, and/or social media with the ability to think like a client and make recommendations based on business objectives. Technical aptitude for learning new software and performing both quantitative and qualitative analyses. Experience creating data visualisations, data storytelling, and developing a compelling report flow. Confidence in business writing, client communication, and presentation skills; prior direct client work is a plus. Competency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Full training in Brandwatch software will be provided; familiarity with social research tools such as Boolean searches, unstructured data, or Brandwatch/ similar platforms is a strong advantage. Multilingual skills are a plus but not required.
