Job DescriptionMust be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team. The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager.
The responsibilities will include:
- Utilise operational experience and knowledge to contribute towards the commissioning of existing and new learning disability services.
- Undertake a programme of service reviews to ensure that care and support is proportionate and that services are achieving value for money.
- Support a full range of commissioning activity whilst ensuring effective partnership working that adopts a whole system approach.
- Contribute towards shaping the local market that responds and delivers creative, innovative models of care and support that delivers positive outcomes to our local population whilst achieving value for money.
- Liaise with other professionals.
Working Hours: 36 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
Contract Duration: 2 Month Temporary Contract
Start Date: Subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent, must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS, and be a car driver.
