Breakfast Club Supervisor – Allenbourn Middle School Employer: Dorset Council Position: Extended Day Club Leader for our Breakfast Club provision. This part‑time, permanent role is worked across five mornings per week, between 07:30 am and 08:45 am, term time only. The schedule totals 6.25 hours per week and 38 weeks per year. Salary: £3,621 – £3,679 per annum (Grade 5). Closing date: 30 November 2025  Start date: January 2026. Key Responsibilities Safeguard children during Breakfast Club sessions. Assist with activities and supervise breakfast. Promote a positive environment and positive expectations of pupils’ behaviour. Support students’ personal needs and well‑being. Work alongside a dedicated and motivated team to enrich the school community. What We Are Looking For Commitment to safeguarding children. Ability to establish positive expectations of pupils’ behaviour and sensitivity to personal needs. Strong interpersonal skills. Discretion, sensitivity, and a calm, positive approach. Good time‑management and organisational skills. Capability to work independently and as part of a team. Warm personality and good teamwork. Recruitment Requirements Disclosure and Barring Service check in line with government safeguards. Right to work in the UK. Pro‑rated salary based on number of hours and weeks worked, including paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlements. UK‑based role. Exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
