Production Supervisor | Dorchester | £32,000 per annum About the Role Our client, a well‑established manufacturer, is seeking a motivated and hands‑on Production Supervisor to join their production team on a permanent basis. This is a key role where the successful candidate will lead and inspire a team of operators to produce high-quality products while meeting productivity and cost‑efficiency targets. Responsibilities Leading and motivating a team of flexible operators to produce high-quality products in line with agreed quality, productivity and cost targets Collaborating with managers to develop and implement SHE (Safety, health and environment) policies to ensure a safe and accident‑free working environment Ensuring that the plant operates at maximum efficiency, maintaining target cycle times and ensuring the work area remains clean and safe at all times Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across safety, product quality, productivity and cost Building positive relationships with the manufacturing teams to ensure excellent customer service. Requirements Proven experience within the manufacturing sector and in leadership roles A strong understanding of Health & Safety policies Excellent timekeeping skills A commitment to quality and delivering exceptional customer service A proactive approach with strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
