FP&A Analyst - FMCG Sector Location: Milton Keynes Flexible Hybrid working I'm working on behalf of a well-established FMCG business who are looking for an FP&A Analyst to join their team in Milton Keynes. This is an exclusive role, with a great growing and high-performing company with a global footprint and backed by a stable group. What you'll be doing: Taking ownership of the budgeting process and managing zero-based budgeting cycles Tracking spend against plan and delivering variance analysis Working closely with department heads across the business to provide financial insight and challenge Building robust financial models to support business planning Providing clear, actionable financial information that helps drive decision-making What you'll need: The essentials are solid budgeting experience (particularly Zero-Based Budgeting), a finance qualification or studying towards, and strong Excel skills. You'll also need to be comfortable working with SAP, particularly the FI/CO modules and ideally SAC (Cloud) or other similar ERP Systems. On the data and reporting side, experience with Power Pivot and Power Query is really important for this role. Knowledge of Power BI and Power Automate would be a bonus, as would any exposure to similar business intelligence or automation tools. Ideally, you'll be CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualified, though if you're part-qualified with strong relevant experience, that's worth a conversation. Beyond the technical side, you'll need to be commercially minded, comfortable challenging the status quo, and able to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders. Previous experience in the FMCG sector would be advantageous but isn't essential.
