Quality Engineering Manager– Salary circa £55,000 (Norwich or Perth) Are you passionate about driving quality across engineering teams? A bit about the job: This role exists to lead and evolve Aviva’s Quality Engineering capability, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of reliability, security, and performance. You’ll work closely with development teams to embed quality practices, implement automation frameworks, and champion continuous improvement. As a key member of our technology leadership team, you’ll be accountable for building a high-performing quality engineering function that supports Aviva’s ambition to deliver outstanding customer experiences. Skills and experience we’re looking for: Strong experience in software testing and quality engineering, including test automation and performance testing. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team of quality engineers. Hands‑on experience with modern test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into DevOps workflows. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement. Starting salary circa £55,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications) Bonus opportunity – 10% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
