Quality Inspector/Lead

Job Title: Quality Lead Hours: 39 per week Mon–Thurs: 08:30–17:00 Fri: 08:30–16:00 Role Overview Specialising in the fabrication of UPVC windows and doors, delivering high-quality products and outstanding customer service to their trade partners. They are now looking for an industry‑experienced professional to join their team. The Quality Lead will work closely with Team Leaders to ensure that all fabrication processes meet industry regulations and align with the company’s quality objectives. Key Responsibilities Ensure adherence to all relevant quality standards, including ISO 9001, BS EN standards, the scope of PS24 Certification, CE marking requirements, and others as applicable. Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality control procedures throughout all stages of UPVC window and door fabrication. Carry out routine inspections and audits of materials, production processes, and finished goods. Create, review, and maintain quality documentation such as SOPs, work instructions, and quality records. Identify and segregate non-conforming raw materials, ensuring issues are resolved promptly. Work closely with technical, production, and engineering teams to embed quality standards into daily operations. Maintain accurate quality records and produce regular quality metrics and performance reports for senior management. Essential Skills and Qualifications Demonstrated experience in quality management within the UPVC window industry or a comparable manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of ISO standards and BS EN requirements relevant to windows and doors. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain standard requirements to cross‑functional teams. Familiarity with Six Sigma, continuous improvement practices, and root cause analysis tools. #J-18808-Ljbffr
