Lead Pharmacist | Private Hospital | Southampton Mon - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm, Saturdays on rotation Southampton - Hampshire £60,000 to £67,000 + Attractive Benefits package Overview Compass Associates are delighted to be working with a leading healthcare provider in their search for a Clinical Pharmacist for their local private hospital. The 19‑bed hospital provides high‑quality healthcare across a range of different specialities including Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, ENT & General Surgery. They also provide a range of in‑patient services as well as an in‑house pharmacy, a physiotherapy department and an imaging department offering a range of diagnostic services. Responsibilities Supervise the procurement, preparation, dispensation & distribution of medicines to patients while providing an excellent standard of care through the medical management service. Ensure the pharmacy department operates in a timely and consistent manner whilst overseeing the general running of the service, providing clinical input where necessary. Requirements Degree in Pharmacy MPharm, BSc or BPharm. GPHC Registration. Senior experience within a Secondary/Primary Care setting. Post‑graduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent. Passion for high quality care. Motivated individual. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. High sense of personal responsibility. Location The hospital is located in Southampton – commutable from Winchester, Portsmouth, Fareham, Salisbury & Bournemouth.
