The role oversees day‑to‑day operations, guides the Works team, manages resources and budgets, ensures works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard, and maintains accountability and collaboration throughout the Shire’s dynamic environment. As our Coordinator Works, you will take the lead in planning, coordinating and delivering civil works and maintenance across the Shire. You’ll develop and implement annual and monthly work programmes, manage staff and contractors, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to specification. You will oversee resource planning, traffic management and WHS compliance, monitor quality and performance, and drive continuous improvement across our Works programmes. Collaborating with internal teams, contractors and the community, you’ll ensure clear communication, safety and service excellence.
