Two 1PA positions are available.The Programme Director will work with and support the Postgraduate Dean in leading the delivery of a wide range of functions within the specialty, aligned to the NHS England mandate. The Programme Director will ensure national standards, determined by the Royal College and core psychiatry guidelines, are met.Key responsibilities include:To oversee the Specialty’s Regional Training ProgrammeSpecialty‑specific matters and trainee/trainer concernsRecruitment to training posts and programmesPostgraduate programme management, including assessments, progression, rotations, support and remediation, OOP management, trainee management and careers support, less‑than‑full‑time training, inter‑deanery transfer, academic training and other related streamsThe ideal candidate will be an experienced NHS Consultant with a thorough understanding of Psychiatry training across the region, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multi‑professional team.Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40 % of their time working in‑person.If successful at interview, an Inter‑Authority Transfer will be run in the Electronic Staff Record system (ESR) to support onboarding.For further details or to arrange an informal visit, contact Rosita Stasytyte, School Operations Manager, at r.stasytyte@nhs.net. #J-18808-Ljbffr
