Responsibilities Planning and delivering creative, age‑appropriate activities that promote children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development Providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration, learning, and play Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication and collaboration Observing, assessing, and documenting children's progress, using this information to inform future planning and support individual needs Maintaining a clean, organised, and inviting classroom space that reflects the children's interests and learning goals Adhering to all nursery policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure the highest standards of care and education Qualifications and Attributes Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills A creative, flexible, and proactive approach to teaching and learning A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to their well‑being and development Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and current best practices in early years education A valid DBS check and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children In return for your dedication and expertise, our client offers a supportive and collaborative work environment, ongoing professional development opportunities, and the chance to make a lasting impact on the lives of young children.
