Job OverviewSenior Accountant based out of our head office, in Finchley. Fusion Consulting Group are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Accountant due to extensive growth and acquisitions. The group has several subsidiaries ranging from Tax, Accounting, Legal, Financial Services and Recruitment. Our mission is to disrupt the disjointed Professional Services space.Job SummaryWorking with our team of accountants, you will be required to complete end to end accounting and taxation tasks for a range of SME businesses and individuals, using industry leading tools. The role of Senior Accountant will report directly to the Head of Accounting.ResponsibilitiesMaintain records of our clients using accounting software packages including Xero and QuickBooksLiaising with clients on ad-hoc queriesUndertake financial close procedures for the month end, including inter-company balance reconciliationPreparing management accounts and month end reconciliations, including commentaryReview and finalise year end accounts for Limited and LLPs from start to finish under FRS 102, Section 1A and FRS 105, ready for client and partner reviewHold client meetings advising them of potential Tax/Accounting implicationsPreparing cash flow statementsPreparing corporation tax computation calculations and basic tax planningReview and completion of VAT returns, including EC Sales and Intrastat returnsApply an advanced knowledge of rules and regulations followed by UK SME’s including tax requirements, company secretarial and a general commercial awarenessWork as part of a team to provide ad-hoc accounting assistance and ensure clients receive an excellent serviceSupport the Head of AccountancyTraining and mentoring junior members of staffPerson SpecificationFully ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 3-4 years post-qualification experience within practiceMust be highly organised, proactive and a self-starterAble to prioritise workload and be self-sufficientAbility to train and mentor junior members of staffXero certified user and familiar with IrisA team player, with active participation in the team, in addition to being able to work on their own as requiredPrevious experience holding client finalisation meetingsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsIntermediate MS Office, including Excel, WordWhat we OfferUp to £55,000pa, dependant on experience24 Days holiday + Bank HolidaysAn additional day off for your Birthday every yearExcellent training and development opportunitiesPrivate medical insuranceGroup life assuranceJob TypeFull-time, Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm (Fridays WFH)Job LocationLondon, England, United KingdomAbout Fusion ConsultingFusion is a multi-discipline professional services group offering 360o advisory services to private clients and fast-growth businesses.
