About the job Join Our Mission to Transform Communities Through Affordable Housing. Coastline is seeking a driven, experienced, and passionate Development Manager to join our brilliant Development and Sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of affordable housing in Cornwall and beyond. In this dynamic role, you will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders—including consultants, contractors, customers, and internal teams—to lead the identification, procurement, and delivery of high-quality, sustainable housing developments. Your expertise will help bring innovative housing solutions to life, making a real difference in the lives of individuals and families. We’re looking for someone who is: Driven in development—you might be an accomplished land buyer or have experience securing grant funding. Able to understand the complexities of technical and planning input, with some exposure to construction-related roles. Experienced across all stages of the development lifecycle, from site identification to project handover—and everything in between. Comfortable working in a varied and hands‑on role within a small, agile team. Knowledgeable in the delivery of affordable housing schemes, including those delivered through Section 106 agreements. Ready to hit the ground running—we’re looking for someone who is already experienced and confident in development management, rather than someone who needs to be trained up. You’ll need to be: Self‑motivated and enthusiastic, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Skilled in managing tight deadlines and budgets, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work independently. A confident communicator and collaborator, able to build strong relationships across diverse teams. Experience working within a Registered Provider or housing association is desirable, but we also welcome applicants with transferable skills from related sectors such as construction, planning, or project management. This role is primarily based at our Redruth office, but we embrace agile working, offering flexibility to work remotely when needed. Please note, if we have asked for a cover letter and you have not submitted one, your application will be automatically rejected and you will not be shortlisted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
