Job Description Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. Salary / Benefits: £22k – £33k + Training + Benefits We are working closely with an industry leading Water Hygiene / Legionella company that covers Commercial, Industrial, Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Educational sites. They are looking to take on a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover contracts across the North East. The successful candidate will have extensive experience carrying out L8 monitoring duties ensuring client sites are compliant with ACoP L8 legislations. Our client can offer regional work for the successful candidate alongside a company pension scheme, excellent holiday allowance and the opportunity to progress. Consideration will be given to candidates from: South Shields, Tynemouth, Durham, Gateshead, Consett, Newcastle upon Tyne, Hexham, Morpeth, Ashington, Peterlee, Hartlepool, Redcar, Saltburn‑by‑the‑Sea, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Barnard Castle, Stockton on Tees. Experience & Qualifications Working as a Water Hygiene Engineer for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella company. Excellent knowledge of HSG / ACoP L8 guidelines. Professional communication skills. Good IT skills. The Role Water sampling. Temperature monitoring. TMV and failsafe servicing. CWST cleans and disinfections. Carrying out calorifier blowdowns. Showerhead cleans and disinfections. Mains injections. Updating onsite logbooks. Ensuring work is carried out in line with ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines. Liaising with clients professionally.
