Remote role, flexible hours.Job DescriptionUnsolicited Films is seeking a Freelance Tour Coordinator to support the early planning of a small-scale UK screening tour for a completed 57-minute independent documentary by Glasgow-based filmmaker Zac. The tour is planned for 2026, with dates remaining flexible at this stage. Screenings will take place in independent cinemas, community arts venues, grassroots cultural spaces and small arts organisations.About the RoleThis freelance role focuses on remote venue coordination, research and communication.It does not involve technical work, on-site support or event hosting.The Coordinator will contact venues, gather availability, understand venue requirements and help shape an initial tour route.This project requires approx. 30 hours of work delivered flexibly over 8-10 weeks (approx. 3-4 hours per week).This is equivalent to £66-£93 per hour, fully compliant with National Minimum Wage requirements.Clear written communication, organisation, familiarity with arts/film venues and confidence initiating contact. Experience in film exhibition, cultural programming or event coordination is desirable but not essential.Job RequirementsWe are looking for someone with strong communication skills, confidence contacting venues, good organisation and an understanding of arts or film environments. Experience in film exhibition, arts programming or event coordination is helpful but not required.
