Residential Childcare Worker

We are seeking a compassionate, resilient, and motivated Residential Childcare Worker to join our dedicated team supporting children and young people in a residential care setting in Bournemouth. You will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stable environment where young people can grow, thrive, and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
·Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people.
·Provide day-to-day care, guidance, and emotional support.
·Promote independence, life skills, and educational engagement.
·Support young people to manage behaviours, emotions, and challenges in a trauma-informed manner.
·Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and teamwork within the home.
·Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding policies at all times.
·Participate in shift work, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
