About The Role We’re looking for a motivated and collaborative Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic, supportive and growing commercial team working on our Northumbrian Living Water Enterprise Account. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in the utilities and infrastructure sector while working alongside experienced professionals who are passionate about mentoring and development. You’ll learn from our current Quantity Surveyors and apply your knowledge to live projects. Location: Durham office – minimum of 3 days a week in office or on site. Start: September 2026. Typical Responsibilities Assisting in the preparation of valuations, cost reports and project forecasts. Supporting procurement activities and subcontractor management. Helping to assess and manage project risks and opportunities. Contributing to project meetings and commercial reviews. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. About You We’re looking for graduates who are curious, creative and ready to collaborate to create change and bring fresh perspectives. You’ll bring insights from your education and life experiences, and we’ll empower you to make a real impact. Graduating in 2026 or already graduated from your degree qualification. Digital confidence, clear communication, ability to collaborate and take initiative. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a desire to continue learning. Degree background in Quantity Surveying, Business, Maths or Finance – or a passion for quantity surveying. This role is not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Visa process. Applicants must therefore have, and maintain, an alternative right to work for the duration of employment.
