Cost Management Associate Director – Turner & Townsend Role Purpose This role will sit in the Data, Tools & Policies team, dedicated to analytics and data management. It focuses on ensuring the effective use of data tools and adherence to policies, driving operational excellence through data‑driven insights. Key Responsibilities Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Lead the development of Cost Estimate Templates, Cost Breakdown Structures, and new tools to support proactive cost assurance. Apply lessons learned from previous processes to build improved workflows and tools. Oversee the collection, processing, and analysis of data, engaging with Trusts and client Finance to integrate their input. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through robust processes and engagement. Develop and maintain data management policies and procedures, including rollout and training as required. Utilise data tools to generate actionable insights and trends and feed back into programmes. Create and maintain dashboards and reports to support decision‑making. Collaborate with other departments within the client and wider programme to understand data needs and provide solutions. Implement and manage data tools and software. Ensure compliance with data policies and regulations. Continuously evaluate and improve data tools and processes through regular stakeholder engagement and lessons learned. Qualifications Team leadership and management experience. Strong data analysis and visualisation skills. Policy implementation and compliance knowledge. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Excellent Excel skills. Attention to detail and accuracy.
