The Trust provides a comprehensive range of generalacute, outpatient, and diagnostic services across its hospital sites. In thisrole, you will participate in the professional pharmaceutical provision ofpharmacy services to the Trust and its external partners, ensuring safe,effective, and evidence-based patient care. You will provide clinical pharmacycover, including near-to-patient services, and support the work of designateddirectorate pharmacists and senior staff, deputising for them when required.The role also involves contributing to specified projects and group initiativesto support service development, as well as participating in the pharmacyemergency duty rota as part of the departments commitment to high-quality,continuous patient care.Main duties of the jobAs aSenior Pharmacist you will work as part of the wider pharmacy team to deliveran effective and professional pharmacy service across a range of key areas,including the pharmacy dispensary, clinical pharmacy services, clinicalpharmacy training, pharmacy technical services, and medicines information. Therole requires adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) relating toclinical activities, ensuring the highest standards of prescription monitoring,drug chart documentation, and antibiotic stewardship.
