As Head of Access and Sufficiency, you will lead the strategic planning and delivery of school places, admissions, and capital investment—ensuring every child can thrive in a great school, close to home. What You’ll Lead Strategic education place planning for mainstream and special education Commissioning and delivery of capital schemes, including SEND provision School admissions and the establishment of new schools Innovative partnerships and funding strategies to expand and enhance provision What You’ll Champion Compassionate, inclusive leadership that empowers teams and communities A culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and high performance Equity, diversity, and inclusion at every level of service delivery Financial stewardship of a £30m capital budget, driving value and impact Respectful, efficient, supportive, and trustworthy service delivery What You’ll Bring Proven senior leadership experience in complex, dynamic environments Strategic vision and political acumen to influence and inspire A deep understanding of education legislation, place planning, and infrastructure The ability to lead transformational change and build strong partnerships We’re looking for someone who leads by example, embraces challenge, and is driven by a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people.
