Job Title: Water Hygiene / Remedial Plumber.Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.Salary / Benefits £24k – £36k + Training + Benefits We are working closely with a professional and reputable Environmental Consultancy based in the West Midlands, who are now seeking to take on a Water Hygiene / Remedial Plumber. The successful candidate will have experience carrying out various L8 compliance duties including but not limited to: water sampling & temperature monitoring, deadleg removals, flushing of little used outlets and carrying out fault finding on site. Consideration will be given to candidates from: West Bromwich, Tamworth, Lichfield, Coalville, Burton upon Trent, Derby, Stoke-on-Trent, Walsall, Telford, Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Kidderminster, Solihull, Ludlow, Warwick, Royal Leamington Spa, Coventry. Experience & Qualifications Will ideally hold the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in Plumbing. Will have experience working for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella management company working hands on as a Water Hygiene / Remedial Plumber. Well versed in HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. IT literate, able to update onsite logbooks accurately. Excellent communication and time management skills. The Role Water sampling. Temperature monitoring. TMV servicing and failsafe testing. CWST cleans and chlorinations. Flushing of little used outlets. Deadleg removals. Expansion valve installations. Replacing, rerouting, and adjusting PVC and copper pipework. Carrying out fault finding on site, and providing recommendation to clients on remedial actions required. Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. Ensuring onsite logbooks are completed promptly after completing L8 compliance work.
