Whilst the role is part of the central Facilities team based at our Head Office in Osprey Court, it will involve working / liaising with co-owners across all 9 of our bases to support the effective management of our services in delivering excellent patient care across BNSSG. Main duties As Facilities Operations Support, your role as a member of the central Facilities Team also involves supporting day to day functions at Head Office, and liaison with external agencies. Vehicle Fleet Support – including administration and transport of cars to any location for service/repair. Fix minor issues such as broken fixtures and leaks. Assemble furniture, including lifting furniture and equipment. Perform paint touch‑ups and minor decorating tasks. Carry out PAT (portable appliance testing) requirements throughout BrisDoc. Support the transport of cars to any location as required, e.g., to garages for service/repair. Deliver and transport post and any other supplies between head office and allocated geographical bases. Communication and Relationship Maintain excellent communication and close collaborative working between IUC Service Delivery Team and Facilities Team as well as other key stakeholders across Practice Services, departmental and organisational boundaries. Facilitate the sharing of information where necessary and in accordance with information governance principles. Escalate issues appropriately to appropriate managers or services with the Facilities team. Person Specification Essential skills and experience Good general level of education including GCSE equivalent qualifications in English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above. Able to provide general maintenance (repair of broken fixtures / leaks, building new furniture, paint touch‑ups). Able to work within a team and take instruction as required. Able to quickly establish rapport and credibility with others in the team and respect their contribution.
