Ceto Talent is supporting a European ship-management and vessel-operations company with headquarters in Germany and offices across the UK and Poland. They manage offshore support vessels for the offshore energy sector and are looking to bring in an HR Superintendent to strengthen their crewing operations.
This role suits someone who enjoys working across crew logistics, certification compliance, and recruitment while helping keep offshore operations running smoothly.
✅ What You’ll Be Doing
* Manage crew rotation schedules and ensure vessels are manned with competent, qualified personnel
* Act as the main contact for crew changes and planning
* Handle crew travel logistics in a cost-effective and safe way
* Keep personnel files and certification records accurate and up to date
* Make sure all activities follow national and international maritime regulations, including STCW and MLC
* Support budgeting, workforce planning and departmental process improvements
* Take part in the full recruitment cycle, including interviews and reference checks
* Oversee the training matrix and ensure crews meet tender, legislative and company requirements
* Review crew performance reports and follow up where needed
* Support audits, vessel visits and other HR-related administrative duties
* Liaise with travel agents, manning agencies and authorities on crew planning and logistics
🎯 What We’re Looking For
* Background in HR, Nautical Science or a related discipline
* Proven experience in a similar role within an international shipping or offshore company
* Strong understanding of STCW and MLC regulations
* Experience with international travel arrangements and crewing systems
* Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
* Able to manage a varied workload and work independently
* High level of discretion, integrity and professionalism
* Good MS Office skills
* Fluent English; German is a bonus
