HR & Crewing OfficerWe are now seeking an experienced HR & Crewing Officer to join our Aberdeen office on a full-time basis to support the day-to-day HR operations within our UK business. In addition to the core HR responsibilities, the role includes administrative duties related to UK immigration compliance for employees working under a Skilled Worker Visa and being a focal point for office management.The position:The HR Generalist will provide comprehensive HR support across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring accurate administration of HR processes, compliance with UK employment law, and effective communication with our employees and managers. This is a hands-on, transactional role that requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional familiar with the offshore wind, oil and gas industry.Your main duties as HR & Crewing Officer:• Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries for UK-based employees and managers.• Manage and process employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, contract changes (mutations), and offboarding.• Maintain and update HR records and systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.• Act as the main contact for the external payroll provider, ensuring timely and accurate monthly payroll processing.• Support line managers with HR documentation such as employment contracts, letters, and HR reports.• Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and company HR policies.• Assist with absence of management, disciplinary, and grievance processes.• Provide support to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives as required.• Liaise with the wider HR team in other N-Sea offices to ensure consistency in HR practices.UK Visa & Immigration Administration• Coordinate, collect, and verify all required contractual and payroll documentation for individuals for whom a Skilled Worker Visa has been requested or issued.• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all active visas, including monitoring expiry dates and ensuring timely renewals.• Prepare and organize all documentation required for Home Office audits, ensuring full compliance with sponsor license obligations.• Calculate required salary uplifts in line with UK occupation-specific minimum salary thresholds, based on the employee’s time worked in the UK.• Prepare and maintain the UK shadow payroll for N-Sea personnel working in the UK, ensuring alignment with tax and immigration compliance.• Liaise with internal departments and external partners, including immigration advisors and payroll providers, to ensure complete, accurate, and timely submission of immigration-related information.• Be the focal point for office management.What are we looking for?• Proven experience in a generalist or HR administrative role, ideally within the offshore, oil and gas, or related sectors.• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.• Experience working with payroll providers and handling payroll data.• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR information systems (HRIS).• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.• Willing to travel to Netherlands as required.What we offer:• Competitive salary and benefits package.• Opportunities for professional growth and development.• A supportive and inclusive work environment.• The chance to be part of a company that values innovation and sustainability.• The chance to play an important part in establishing excellent part management within N-Sea.About N-Sea:N-Sea is an integrated total subsea solutions provider in Survey, UXO ID & Disposal, IRM & Construction, and Subsea Cable Repair & Installation.We deliver total solutions for subsea infrastructures and assets that meet the needs of our clients in the international oil & gas and renewable industries, with a focus on safety and sustainability.We aim to create a sustainable business and increase our profitability through solid project management and full client awareness.Do you want to be part of our team?Please send your application, including your CV, to recruitmentNL@n-sea.com for the attention of the HR department.
