Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Joiner to carry out a variety of reactive and responsive works within social housing and public sector environments. The successful applicant will be responsible for operating in and around occupied and refurbished properties, undertaking assigned tasks with precision and in full compliance with health, safety, and quality standards. Location The base location will be Bowburn however, you will be based on projects throughout the North East/Yorkshire. What we will expect from you Undertake reactive / responsive works to Social Housing / Public Sector Clients To work in and around existing occupied / refurbished properties Undertaking various works as directed by the site management team including installation of kitchens, pipe boxings, skirting and window cill boards along with 1st and 2nd fix joinery works Ensure exceptional levels of customer care Undertake works to a high standard on a right first time basis where possible Work independently as well as part of a team Submission of daily and weekly paperwork accurately and on time Bring additional trade skills or be willing to up skill where appropriate Be committed to achieving a high standard of Health and Safety in all its activities and ensuring compliance with all appropriate legislation and site policies and procedures To participate in any identified training or development opportunities To recognise the importance of fairness and equality in the workplace, to treat everyone with dignity and respect It is not possible for this document to totally encompass or define all tasks that may be required of the post holder.
