Base pay range Salary: £39,517 per annum Hours: 37 hours per week with flexible hybrid working Location: St Asaph Business Park About The Management Accountant Role As our Management Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the financial success of our housing development programme. You’ll ensure projects are accounted for accurately, cashflow forecasts are robust, and funding is managed efficiently, helping us make the best use of every pound to deliver lasting impact. Working closely with colleagues across Finance and Development, you’ll provide trusted financial insight to support strategic decision‑making. You’ll manage the transition of completed homes into the asset register, analyse project viability and performance, and help shape the financial foundations that turn development plans into homes that change lives. We’re looking for a qualified accounting professional (CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA, or equivalent) who’s motivated by meaningful social purpose. You’ll be detail‑focused, collaborative, and ready to combine your technical expertise with a passion for improving communities. This role would suit you if you have: Experience as a Management Accountant, Project Accountant, or Finance Business Partner in housing, construction, or property development. Knowledge of development project cycles, WIP, capitalisation of assets, and real estate or social housing finance. Experience in cashflow forecasting, project viability, or business planning. A strong understanding of financial controls, VAT/CIS, and asset transitions. The ability to translate complex financial data into clear, meaningful insight. A proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge, advise, and influence.
