Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Bank Project Worker at our Homelessness Scheme at Church House in Faversham.We specialise in delivering a wide range of personalised housing, care and support services to help people across England to live as independently as possible.The role of Bank Project Worker will include:Providing support to encourage our customers who have faced homelessness to maximise their own potential and independenceAssessing customers’ needs by writing and updating support plansBeing a first point of call to receive and direct all customer queriesDeveloping relationships with customers, ensuring that customers maintain personal choice, privacy and dignityLiaising with external support links to improve customers’ confidence, health and wellbeing and offer training and encouragement towards employment and educationHandling occasional emergency situationsKeeping accurate and high-quality written recordsSkills and experiences:Experience of working with adults who have experienced homelessnessEnthusiastic and flexible with a strong “can-do” attitudeAbility to work as part of a team and on own initiativeStrong organisational skills as well as functional literacy and numeracyAbility to react quickly to changing priorities whilst working to deadlines and targetsNVQ3 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards is essentialWe offer a range of benefits, including:A variety of online discounts and rewards from major retailersHealth and well-being plansA wide range of learning and development opportunitiesWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from people from diverse backgrounds.
