Job Overview We are currently seeking applications from enthusiastic staff nurses who would like to work in Redbridge alongside our 0-19 skill mix team (Health Visiting and School Nursing). We currently have two vacancies within the team, one full time (37.5 hours) and one three days per week (22.5 hours). Both roles offer the opportunity for part‑time, flexible and condensed hours. Key Responsibilities Participate in child health screening, health promotion activities and support parenting in a variety of environments including the family home, clinics, schools and Family Hubs. Identify health needs with children and families, and in agreement with the Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) across the 0-19 pathway, plan, deliver and review evidence‑based interventions to improve outcomes for children and families. Deliver appropriately delegated commissioned elements of the Healthy Child Programme (HCP) (DH 2009) and work in multidisciplinary and multi‑agency settings. Engage actively with a diverse range of clients in the community, demonstrating a positive attitude. Desirable Skills & Experience Strong communication and teamwork skills. Experience or ambition to work in multi‑disciplinary and multi‑agency settings. Motivational skills and understanding of key policies relating to children. Additional Information Starting with NELFT: New starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks, including mandatory training, systems training and equipment allocation. During induction, new staff will have the opportunity to meet the executive team, senior managers and attend drop‑in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing. Probationary Period: This post is subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt unless they are already part of a probationary period or a bank member of staff. High‑Cost Area Supplement: The post attracts a 15% supplement (minimum £4,714, maximum £5,941) pro rata for part‑time staff. Certificates of Sponsorship: We can sponsor applicants that meet UKVI eligibility. Sponsorship salary calculations exclude the High‑Cost Area Supplement.
