Your role at Veezu: As we embark on a major digital transformation journey, we seek a visionary Technical Product Manager to lead the in-sourcing of our outsourced app development with a view to building our very own enterprise level and fully scalable B2C Mobile App. This greenfield project will redefine our digital landscape, enhancing our capabilities and creating seamless experiences for our users. We are a tech-driven on-demand mobility service that supports our hyper-local communities, helping them thrive and so much more What you’ll do: Project Leadership Lead the end-to-end digital transformation project, working collaboratively with the Head of Engineering, ensuring timely and successful delivery. Develop and manage a detailed project plan, including scope, timeline, resources, and budget. Build and coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, QA, and operations. Stakeholder Management Collaborate with senior management to define project goals and objectives. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports. Engage with external vendors and partners as needed to ensure smooth transitions. Technical Expertise Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team. Ensure the architecture and design of the in-house mobile app meets high standards of performance, security, and scalability. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into the project. Product Development Define and prioritise product requirements based on user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. Create and maintain a product roadmap, aligning it with the overall company strategy. Conduct market research and user testing to gather feedback and iterate on product features. Quality Assurance Implement robust testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and performance of the mobile app. Monitor and analyse product performance metrics, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement. Team Collaboration Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing. Mentor and support team members, helping them grow their skills and advance their careers. What you’ll need: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus. Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager or similar role, with a strong track record of managing digital transformation projects. Building and managing a Product Roadmap. Previous experience (preferably 5+ years) in the Product team within a high growth, fast paced technology company. Deep understanding of IT, cloud services, and mobile app development. Excellent project management skills, with proficiency in Agile methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or similar. Knowledge of cyber-security best practices and data privacy regulations Be committed to maintaining our ISO27001 certification and setting high standards for Information Security compliance. Where you’ll be: This role will be either based out of our Cardiff office or hybrid, with the expectation that you will travel to and work from our hubs across the UK and Ireland as and when needed for the proper performance of your role.
