We are looking to recruit a friendly, motivated individual to join our Visitor Operations team as a Weekend Park Ranger. You will thrive in a busy, customer‑facing team and help with the day‑to‑day running of our award‑winning zoo. You will provide outstanding customer service, be enthusiastic, and enjoy a varied role where no two days are the same. Responsibilities Help visitors enjoy their day by being friendly, approachable, and responding to queries and questions. Drive our tractor and trailer and provide commentary to our visitors on board. Keep play areas clean, safe and well‑maintained. Perform general janitorial duties. Keep the site clean and tidy. Work in our Ticket Office and wider Visitor Operations team on a regular basis. About You You will be friendly, outgoing and charismatic, enjoying outdoor work with the public. A full, current manual driving licence is essential and confidence in driving skills. Experience of customer service in retail, leisure, or hospitality. High cleaning standards. Good team player with a flexible can‑do attitude. Please note that you will not be working with animals in this position. Work Pattern 2 days per week: Saturday and Sunday, permanent contract. Working hours 8am – 5pm (winter hours may vary).
