With a team of approximately 150 professionals and backed by the power and scale of the Ares platform, AWMS represents one of the most resourced wealth distribution and client service teams in the alternatives industry. AWMS’ mission is to provide advisors and their clients access to innovative, solutions-oriented investment opportunities, across the Ares platform of industry leading credit, private equity, real assets, and secondaries strategies. Through our range of institutional and retail structures, coupled with excellent client service and educational resources, we help investors diversify their portfolios with private market solutions that can deliver consistent, long-term growth.Position SummaryThe candidate will have a variety of responsibilities and will work in close coordination with various Ares business lines, primarily with regards to the product sales strategy and ongoing product support for existing strategies in the private wealth distribution channel.Primary DutiesProvide ongoing support and key real-time product, investment and market updates to sales teams working with advisors, investment teams, portfolio managers and other key stakeholders on a global basis with a focus on EMEA and APACWork across AWMS business functions including Marketing, Sales, Client Services and Private Wealth Partnerships to support product initiativesLiaise across Ares’ investment businesses assisting in the evolution of product strategy, messaging (including content creation), and supportMarket research and competitor analysisRequired Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities2-5 years’ experience in investment banking, asset management, consulting, or wealth managementStrong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skillsInterest and knowledge of financial markets and investment asset classesDesire to work in a team environment and ability to cultivate strong relationshipsDemonstrated ability to write effectively and strong communication and presentation skillsSuperior organizational skillsFamiliarity with markets, securities, investment strategies and the relevant regulatory frameworkStrong judgmentStriving for excellence and driven to contribute to the company’s successStrong command of the full Microsoft Office suite (most notably Excel and PowerPoint)CFA Charterholder or progress towards a plusOutstanding record of academic achievement and professional accomplishmentLanguage Skills - Preferably 1 of French, German or Italian, in addition to EnglishReporting RelationshipsManaging Director, Head of Product Management #J-18808-Ljbffr
