Job Summary Suffolk Association of Local Councils (SALC) is seeking an Engagement Coordinator to lead and coordinate support to the sector for Suffolk's Nationally Strategic Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs). The role involves developing guidance, designing practical tools, delivering workshops, working with experts and partners, and providing updates and information. Occasional travel across parts of Suffolk is required. Location & Hours Address: Units 1 and 2, Hill View Business Park, Old Ipswich Road, Claydon, Ipswich, Suffolk IP6 0AJ Hours: 15 hours per week Contract: Fixed Term for 3 years Reference: 0514 Main Responsibilities Work closely with town and parish councils and parish meetings. Create partnerships and inform stakeholders across the sector in Suffolk and beyond to streamline communication for each project. Research best practice both nationally and locally, analyze issues, trends and adapt guidance and support accordingly. Create blogs, newsletters, briefings, and host workshops. Qualifications Has a good standard of literacy and numeracy. Is self‑driven and analytically minded. Has proven skills in managing projects. Is an excellent communicator and a team player with a talent for building awareness and engagement.
