Coach Development Delivery Officer Organisation: Northumberland FA Location: Wallsend (St Peter’s Sports Hub) Sector: Grassroots Football / Coach Development Closing Date: 2nd January Salary: £32 per hour (up to 125 hours per annum) Northumberland FA is seeking a Coach Development Delivery Officer to support the growth, quality and sustainability of coaching across our grassroots community. This role focuses on developing England Football Accredited clubs, supporting Coaching Leads, and enhancing the experience of players and volunteers across all pathways. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of coaches throughout the county as we continue to strengthen our offer from our new home at St Peter’s Sports Hub. About the Role As Coach Development Delivery Officer, you will: Build strong relationships with 2-star and 3-star England Football Accredited clubs, working closely with club leaders and Coaching Leads. Deliver Coach Developer training, mentoring and CPD opportunities across the county. Support clubs in creating and delivering club-specific Coach Development plans and programmes. Assist with the deployment and development of the casual workforce to meet club needs. Contribute to the County Coach Development Programme at club, county and regional levels. Work collaboratively with Northumberland FA colleagues across Club Development, Inclusion, Women & Girls and related areas. Support volunteer workforce growth, diversity, retention and recognition within Thriving Community Clubs. Ensure safeguarding, equality and inclusion are embedded throughout all delivery. Support the implementation of FA technology systems within grassroots football. Contribute to the delivery of The FA Grassroots Football Strategy and the Northumberland FA Business Strategy. This role is based at St Peter’s Sports Hub, with delivery taking place across the county as required. We’re Looking For Someone with: Essential UEFA B Licence or equivalent Significant Coach Development experience Experience supporting adult learning Grassroots coaching and/or Coach Development experience Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to use data to monitor and evaluate programmes Understanding of inclusion, equality, anti-discrimination and safeguarding Knowledge of the FA’s coaching qualifications and CPD framework Strong influencing skills and the ability to drive positive change Desirable UEFA A Licence or equivalent Youth Module 3 Two years’ sports development experience Why Work With Northumberland FA?
