Department: Catering Casual Support Team.Description: We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic Bar staff to join our Bar Team. We are looking for bartenders who can work in a fast-paced bar who can deliver a wide range of drinks in a high-volume environment. You will need to be knowledgeable about drinks and be confident in providing guests with the correct drink choice. The role will allow you to learn and develop amongst our friendly and hardworking bar team, with the potential to progress within the company. To ensure the effective and efficient running of all small to medium on-site bars for MICE and Track events in accordance with the management team brief. Silverstone is seeking a highly motivated Bartender skilled in detail-oriented service, member recognition, POS systems operations, and tending bar. All members of the Bar team are required to have a competent knowledge of different types of beer, wine and spirits and their delivery.Key RelationshipsSales teamDrive and Ride ManagerEstate & Facilities ManagerFinance teamIT DepartmentVenue teamMarketing teamExternal suppliersKey ResponsibilitiesMix beverages using an extensive range of ingredients including liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, and fruitsTake beverage orders from customers or wait staff and serve drinks with attention to detailSatisfy patron requests in a timely mannerAssess customer preferences and make drink recommendationsProvide a positive and friendly guest experienceTake payments for drinks served and provide change as neededCheck identification to verify legal age requirementsKeep a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other accessoriesSet up and break down temporary barsClean the bar, tables, chairs, and work area to maintain a sanitary environmentOrganise the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventorySlice, pit, and prepare fruit garnishes for drinksComply with all food and beverage regulationsTeam Standards & ResponsibilitiesCreate a positive, proactive culture within the departmentPromote professional image and high standards of professionalism and personal presentationSkills, Knowledge And ExpertiseExperience as a BartenderExcellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinksTouch Screen Till literacyPositive attitude and excellent communication skillsAbility to keep the bar organized, stocked and cleanRelevant training certificateOwnership, problem solving, proactive and self-motivatedTeam player with initiativePassionate about customer care and serviceAttention to detail, with strong organisational, time management and interpersonal skillsFlexible working hours – including weekendsClear and articulate in oral and written communicationCreative problem-solving and willingness to find innovative solutionsAbility to meet stretching targetsSeniority levelNot ApplicableEmployment typeTemporaryJob functionOther #J-18808-Ljbffr
