Semi Senior or Senior, Personal Tax

We’re excited to offer an opportunity for a Semi Senior or Senior to join our personal tax team in Taunton or Bristol. This is a fantastic chance to build on your existing knowledge, develop your skills, and take on more responsibility. Joining our personal tax team will give you valuable exposure to both tax compliance and tax planning, working with a diverse portfolio of clients. You’ll have the opportunity to interact directly with clients, answering their tax‑related queries and advising on planning strategies across various tax areas, including international tax, trusts, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax. Key Responsibilities Having a portfolio of personal tax clients to work with Preparing tax computations and returns Resolving queries and supporting senior team members Identifying tax issues and contributing to advisory work What We Need From You Be ATT or CTA part qualified or qualified Have a minimum of 1 to 2 years practice experience Be a confident and collaborative team player Show excellent people skills and the ability to offer outstanding service to clients Have self‑motivation and a strong work ethic If your experience isn’t a complete match but you feel you could bring a lot to AG, we’d still encourage you to apply so that we can learn more about you What We Can Give You In Return A minimum of 25 days holiday which increases with length of service.
